“You’re going to Bible College” were the exact words I heard God tell me. It was the loudest I had ever heard God’s voice, and out of obedience, I changed my work contract to be able to dedicate a day to College, and I signed up!
I could never have imagined that I was signing up for one of the most transformative years of my life.
It’s been a year of firsts, partnered with being pushed out of my comfort zone. I started the year with a very basic Christian knowledge, but now I’ve read the entire Bible, can quote scripture, prophesy over people, confidently pray, efficiently lead teams, and write and deliver sermons, just to name a few.
Most of all, I have developed such a reverence and deep love for God. He has revealed parts of His heart to me that I hope only continue to grow. It’s by His goodness that I’ve completed this year, and a fire burns so deep in my heart that I’ll be living on purpose for Him for the rest of my life. Praise God! All glory be to Him!
Nations College was not at all what I imagined I’d be doing this year! I thought I’d be chasing my dream of playing professional football in Europe, but God had different plans for me. Choosing Nations College was a last-minute decision, and to be honest, I had no idea what I was getting myself into or who I‘d be journeying with. Looking back, I can see how perfectly He orchestrated it all.
From the first day, I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be. I felt God‘s hand guiding me, and a deep desire to know more about this God who loves me so dearly began to grow within me. Over the year, my expectations were not just met but exceeded as I learned how every scripture points to Jesus, developed an intimate relationship with Him, and grew in ministry. I also developed my abilities in playing drums, keys, and even leading teams.
The experiences I’ve had – such as going to Cambodia and building relationships with people I never thought I’d connect with – have been life-changing. Truly, Nations College is one of the best decisions I‘ve ever made. In just one year, God has transformed my life in ways I never imagined. If you give God your ‘yes’, you’ll see how He can change your life too.
