Second Year
God has given you a calling and gift and now is your time to ‘fan it into flames’. Second Year Leadership Intensive is for you if you are ready to go deeper, be stretched further, and finish the year astounded at what God can do in and through your life. It is your opportunity to let God develop your leadership and create space for mature ministers to speak into your life.
The program will include a ministry placement, regular teaching sessions, structured individual feedback as well as opportunities for leadership and ministry practice.
Duration: 1 Year
Leadership Development
Classes will deep dive church leadership, specifically in the area of leading, pioneering and growing ministries. We desire to release leaders into their calling and empower them to live out the Nations Church mandate.
Sessions will be run by Nations Church senior leadership, guest speakers from other church ministries and always provide discussion time where students can deep dive their own ministry experience and learn from each other.
Practical Placement
Students will take part in specialised projects with a department aimed at giving them an opportunity to grow their leadership, spiritual gifts and ministry expression in an environment where it can be nurtured and challenged.
In addition, they may be asked to speak and/or minister at different courses/services, team lead on a missions trip and accompany the ministry team to pray at different events.
Students must be prepared and able to take on a significant leadership role at Nations Church for the year, as this will form the basis of your ministry placement experience and the leadership development that you will receive.
FAQ
What are the pre-requisites?
We require all 2nd Year Leadership College applicants to have already completed a year at Nations College or 1st year at any equivalent college.
Is this course accredited?
This course is not currently accredited, however it would be a great course to do along side your choice of study if that is something you wish to do.
Can I do the Leadership Intensive if I’m not from Nations Church?
This course is currently available exclusively to students who attend a Nations Church campus. This ensures that each student can be placed in a leadership role within the church, where they will receive guidance and mentorship from one of our experienced leaders as part of their development in practical placement.
